This coming Sunday we will be training at 5pm in the Mabashi Jinja – an hour later than the normal 4pm.
See you there!
Starting February 25 until March 24 the class schedule will be changed due to Rob’s seminar schedule.
The Sunday afternoon at 4pm class and the Thursday evening at 7pm class will continue with the senior instructors running the classes in the usual format (all the foundational drills and exercises followed by integrating the movements practiced into taijutsu).
Temporarily suspended will be:
Tuesday, 2pm class at the Kita Matsudo Undo Koen,
Thursday 11am class at the Mabashi Shrine,
Friday 4pm class at Honbu.
Normal schedule will resume on Thursday the 25 of March at 11am, Mabashi Jinja.
Discover what Hatsumi Soke and the Japanese Shihan know about making the Kihon Happo work. Although Soke has been teaching the concept of “chuuto hanpa” (halfway or incomplete) for years and the principles that make this “incompleteness” possible, it is usually considered an advanced idea that you somehow come to only after many years of practice.
But for those people who are looking for the connection between the rigid, formal kata most consider “the basics”, and Hatsumi Soke’s effortless movement, this DVD offers many clues to point you in the right direction. The information presented here is compiled from ideas and movements taken from training with Hatsumi Soke and his four top shihan in Japan.
If you’ve ever had the opportunity to train with Rob then you will already know the value of watching this DVD and practicing the movements presented within.
