Tekken or knuckles

Dear Budo friends,

her is one more shinken tool of Ningu, or if you like one of kobudo weapon.
also made for the collection of the tools for my Dojo, the plan is make the largest collection of replica ninja tools and equipment in this part of the world.
I always try to make things better, so I make more pieces, best goes to Dojo armory,  and rest you will be able to purchase if you are interested.

This kind of Tekken (some say Kaiken) because of its geometry and shapes, can be used in many ways, not only striking, but also to assist in climbing, or for something more which I will try to explain in next post.

if you think that I'm forget my wooden work here is also one  wooden version of Tekken
as was shown in the Encyclopedia of Japanese Kobudo Weapons
the same but with a little patina, painted to look older

Kunai shinken

My dear Buyu's I have some time to finally finish my "live" kunaiso here is some pictures for start,
later I will write something more about him, mainly blade is made of steel and the handle of an ordinary iron welded to the blade, thereby prevent cracking handle when I throw kunai or when is use as leverage for breaking.

Kumade hook

This is Kumade which I make in version of hook for climbing.
As you know (or do not know) Kumade exists in several versions,
in this version of the hooks for climbing or grasping an opponent, with two branches, three branches (this which I did) or with four or more branches.
There is also in a version that is placed on poles, similar to Yari, but instead of the spear head was placed Kumade, I will soon make this one too.

This kind of hooks for climbing has its own advantages, which normally depend on the method and place of use, the laws of physics do their role, which is the advantage of what I want to say something.
The moment when you throw  a hook of this type, gravity affects the spikes to be turned down, which ensures that the spikes thrust into an opponent or will grasp some support for climbing.

Other types of benefits, refer to the quality of the reception area, it is a lot better if you ensure with three or more spikes than one or eventually two,
however it all depends on the proper technique of using

I was made this one for my dojo museum,
a little black paint and is already better, if you need more info about this tool send e-mail

Sodegarami

My dear  Budo  friends
here is the last of the three main long-handled arresting tools,

Sodegarami (sleeve entangler), the most frequently used of the arresting tool set,
this is long pole with many small hooks (KOKAGI) on one end, pointing in different directions.
The thorny Sodegarami was designed to snare a suspect's kimono sleeve or topknot
there is few version's of this tool, but I decide to make one which personally  like the most,
for now enjoy in pics.

Ninja biken, Sinobigatana, Ninja to?

Although it is hard to say which is actually a real name for this type of sword, he is become not replaceable in training of Ninjutsu.

This type of bokken I we make the past ten years, what you could see below is the latest improved version,  in fact, several of them, never do just one solution : ))

and  surprise under Kashira, metsubishi : )

Tanrenbo

There is a weapon called Tanrenbo or Furibo
although perhaps similar to Tsukubo (the mace), actually serves as a weight, by which we strengthen the hands for later use of sword in Kenjutsu.
It could be classified as Suburito too,
because their weight is not too heavy,
by their shape, they are still classified as Tanrenbo,

Today they are used all sorts of things to improve grip strength, but for me personally the best is this classic, traditional and natural tools.
Most of Tanrenbo you could  found is, round, octagonal and square shapes, but I decided for the hexagon shape, for the simple reason that it is harder to make.
